3:11 Ministries in Midland continues expanding programs that provide prom dresses, children’s clothing, graduation items and dorm necessities for underserved students across the Permian Basin.
According to the organization’s website, its Perfect PROMise program provides free prom dresses, shoes, jewelry, makeup and accessories to local students unable to afford formalwear for prom season. The organization reported on its Facebook page that more than 100 West Texas girls received dresses during the 2026 prom season.
The ministry also operates the Kids & Khakis program, which provides clothing, shoes, coats, hygiene items and school supplies to children through referrals from Midland ISD school counselors, teachers and community partners, according to the 3:11 Ministries website. The organization states the program serves hundreds of children annually.
According to information shared on the organization’s Facebook page, 3:11 Ministries recently expanded the Kids & Khakis program to include graduation caps and gowns for Midland County students identified through community referrals.
The nonprofit also operates the 3:11 Dorm Project in partnership with Midland College. According to the organization’s website, the program assists students classified as homeless who are entering campus housing without family support or basic dorm necessities.
The organization states on its website that its mission is to support underserved children by meeting practical needs while creating opportunities for children and students to participate in milestone experiences alongside their peers.
