Other officers include Shellie Young as vice president, Destiny Vargas as secretary, Amy Dennis as treasurer, Evie Gandy as director and Annette Dozier as director, according to information provided by Destiny Vargas of Uptown BPW.
During the luncheon, Stredic reflected on the organization’s 2025-26 theme, “Flourish,” and highlighted accomplishments including the annual Woman of Achievement event, the organization’s most successful Bunco fundraiser to date, networking opportunities and membership growth, according to information provided by Vargas.
Midland Times spoke with Vargas following the luncheon. Vargas said the organization plans to build on last year’s momentum through this year’s theme, “Elevate.”
“To elevate is to recognize that our greatest strength isn’t just in our individual reach, but in the hand we extend to the woman standing next to us,” Stredic said at the luncheon. “It is about mentorship, honoring our legacy, and the transformative power of our voices. When one of us rises, we all elevate together.”
