The Midland Health Services reported providing services to more than 1,000 Midland residents age 18 and younger during the first four months of 2026.
According to department data, 304 children and teens received services in April, bringing the year-to-date total to 1,023.
The department also administered 801 vaccines during April, increasing the total number of vaccines provided this year to 2,919. In addition, Midland Health Services reported 609 appointments kept during the month and 2,120 appointments completed so far in 2026.
Other year-to-date activity included 482 inspections conducted, 65 complaints investigated, 1,090 invoices processed, and 155 patient referrals provided. Officials also reported encountering five illegal food vendors during the first four months of the year, including one in April.
During April, the department participated in several community outreach efforts, including the Community Partner Roundtable on April 7, the Spring Health Fair on April 10, the Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival held April 24–26, and the Share Walk on April 25.
