Several public events are scheduled across Midland and Odessa during the coming weeks, including shopping events, educational forums and annual community festivals.
Prosperity Employment Outreach is scheduled to host a Sip and Shop pop-up fundraiser Thursday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Grace and Hustle Boutique.
Organizers said shoppers can expect low-cost clothing, shoes and purses featuring brands including Jessica Simpson, Kate Spade, Loft, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant and Calvin Klein. A meet and greet with Prosperity Employment Outreach supporters and volunteers is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with light snacks and drinks available.
According to organizers, admission is free and all proceeds from the event support Prosperity Employment Outreach programs. According to organizers, Prosperity Employment Outreach is 100% volunteer operated.
The Memorial Day Weekend Flea Market hosted by 307 Farmer’s Market is scheduled for May 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and May 24 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena.
Organizers said the event will include local vendors, shopping and live music. Admission is free.
The 39th annual Mex-Tex Family Fiesta is scheduled for May 30 at the Midland County Horseshoe, located at 2514 Arena Trail in Midland.
