West Texas FC announced the return of Adem Arous for its inaugural USL2 season Wednesday.
Arous previously played for West Texas FC and contributed to the team’s National Premier Soccer League Lone Star Conference regular season championship last year. “Adem was an instrumental figure in West Texas FC colors last summer, scoring goals in crucial games and being a constant threat on the left,” WTFC said…”WTFC announced the defender’s return in a Facebook post. Arous rejoins the club after winning a national championship with Indian Hills Community College in 2025″ according to WTFC.
Some of his notable goals include opening shots in the July 5, 2025, win over the Lubbock Matadors to clinch first place in the Lone Star Conference and contributing to a 3-0 playoff victory over Fort Worth Vaqueros FC a week later, according to the Midland Times. The team concluded its 2025 campaign with eight wins, three losses and one draw, totaling 25 points overall as reported by Midland Times.
Head coach Scotty Murray believes that capturing a national title with Indian Hills will benefit Arous in his return to the semi-pros. “The man knows what it takes to win, proving that game after game last summer in Midland… I’m so thrilled to welcome him back for another year,” Murray said according to WTFC.
