Bynum School is currently conducting a fundraiser aimed at supporting children and adults with special needs during the holiday season.
According to an October 23 Facebook post, Bynum’s annual Poinsettia Fundraiser is underway, with orders being accepted until November 11. The school said that the poinsettias available for purchase come in two sizes and five colors.
“These beautiful poinsettias also make perfect gifts for friends, clients, or teachers,” the school said, noting that the plant native to Latin America provides “endless holiday cheer.”
The post includes a graphic featuring a QR code that can be scanned to purchase a poinsettia. Interested individuals may also visit the school’s website. “Every purchase helps empower and educate individuals of all abilities,” Bynum said.
Proceeds from the sales will benefit the school. Complimentary delivery within Midland/Odessa is available for orders of ten poinsettias or more on December 1. Alternatively, plants can be picked up from the campus at 5510 Avalon Dr., on either December 2 or 3.
