Christi Craddick, a member of the Texas Railroad Commission and candidate for Texas Comptroller, has recently posted a series of statements on social media outlining her record and campaign priorities.

On October 21, 2025, Craddick stated, “At the Railroad Commission, I cut permitting delays from 90 days to 48 hours, fuelling record-setting growth and billions for schools, roads, and first responders. That’s results Texans can count on. As Comptroller, I’ll bring the same conservative leadership to your tax”. In this message, Craddick emphasized her role in streamlining permitting processes during her tenure at the Railroad Commission of Texas.

Later that same day, Craddick addressed education policy, posting “Texas schools should be teaching kids to read, not pushing woke agendas in the library. As Comptroller, I’ll stop hidden spending that funds radical ideology.” She pledged to address what she described as inappropriate spending in school budgets.

On October 22, 2025, Craddick continued to focus on school spending, writing “No more woke experiments on the taxpayer’s dime. I’ll make sure school spending respects parents, strengthens education, and protects Texas values. We shouldn’t have to worry about what our kids are learning in school.”

The Texas Comptroller serves as the state’s chief financial officer, responsible for tax collection, revenue estimation, and overseeing state funds. Christi Craddick is currently a member of the Texas Railroad Commission, an agency that regulates the oil and gas industry in Texas. The commission has significant influence over energy production in the state, which contributes substantial revenue to public services such as education and infrastructure.
