Christi Craddick, a candidate for Texas Comptroller and current member of the Texas Railroad Commission, outlined her fiscal priorities in a series of posts on November 9 and 10, 2025. In these statements, Craddick emphasized government accountability and a commitment to focusing state spending on core issues.

On November 9, Craddick wrote: “Texans want to fund schools, roads, and border security, not bloated agencies or vanity projects. As Comptroller, I’ll make sure spending supports priorities that matter. Every line of the budget will reflect responsibility, restraint, and respect for taxpayers.”

Later that day, she reiterated her position on transparency in government finances: “Accountability isn’t a slogan; it’s a practice. Every dollar spent should be justified in plain English so Texans can judge performance for themselves. That’s how trust in government is earned, one verified dollar at a time”.

In another post on November 10, Craddick promoted what she called the “Conservative Blueprint,” stating: “The Conservative Blueprint keeps government small, focused, and accountable. Audit everything. Cut waste. Modernize systems. Return money faster. Enforce spending limits. Proven, not performed. As Comptroller, I’ll make the Conservative Blueprint real, turning promises into https://t.co/zjiVzD78Z7”.

Craddick’s statements come as Texas prepares for upcoming statewide elections where fiscal management is expected to be a major topic among voters and candidates alike.
