City of Midland announces Good Friday closure and revised trash collection schedule

The City of Midland announced on March 26 that its offices will be closed on Friday, April 3 in observance of the Good Friday holiday. Offices are set to reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 6.

This closure affects city services and changes the regular trash collection schedule for residents. City officials said that trash normally collected on Thursday, April 2 will instead be picked up on Wednesday, April 1. Trash usually scheduled for pick-up on Friday, April 3 will be collected a day earlier, on Thursday, April 2.

Residents are advised to call emergency services at 9-1-1 or contact the after-hours emergency number for water services at (432) 685-7340 if needed during the closure period.
