The Midland Chamber of Commerce assisted Coco Bananas Boutique in celebrating its tenth anniversary on October 9. The boutique, located at 2308 W. Front St., marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony organized by the chamber.
According to a Facebook post shared by the chamber on Tuesday, representatives were present at the event. “Stop by their adorable boutique and help celebrate 10 fabulous years of style, charm, and community,” the chamber said.
Coco Bananas is described as a curated collection of women’s contemporary apparel and accessories on its Facebook page. While the day focused on celebrating its milestone anniversary, the store also hosted several small businesses from Midland to encourage community support for local enterprises.
“Our hearts are so full,” Coco Bananas expressed in an October 10 Facebook post. “We’re endlessly grateful for our CB friends and community who’ve supported us through EVERY season.”
Carrasco, who runs Coco Bananas, noted that the business began as an online venture in a spare bedroom before moving to online popups and eventually settling into its current storefront six years ago.
