U.S. Congressman August Pfluger announced on Mar. 30 that he will hold a community town hall in Eden, Texas, on April 1 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Central Time at the Eden Multipurpose Center.
The event is open to the public and members of the media are also invited to attend. The announcement states that a flyer is available for broadcast and distribution.
Pfluger currently serves as the representative for Texas’ 11th congressional district, having replaced former member Mike Conaway in 2021, according to official records. He has served in this position since that year as well.
In the most recent general election in 2020, Pfluger defeated Jon Mark Hogg with nearly eighty percent of the vote, winning by a margin of 232 votes (79.7%) to Hogg’s fifty-three votes (18.3%), according to election results.
Pfluger was born in Houston in 1978 and now resides in San Angelo at age forty-four, according to his biographical information.
The upcoming town hall offers residents an opportunity to engage directly with their congressional representative about issues important to them.
