Cudd Well Control provided a food donation to the Midland Soup Kitchen Ministry last week.

The donation consisted of leftover barbecue from the Roseland West Texas Convention, which representatives from the Houston-based petroleum service company attended. The ministry said in a Facebook post that the donation was enough to feed hundreds of people, according to the Midland Soup Kitchen Ministry.

The Midland Soup Kitchen Ministry also said that Cudd Well Control earned the Best in Show Exhibit accolade at the convention. “They didn’t just pack up and head home. They made a powerful impact right here in our community,” the ministry said, according to the Midland Soup Kitchen Ministry.

Cudd Well Control said its victory was made possible through a collaborative effort with Cudd Pressure Control, Thru Tubing Solutions and Spinnaker Cementing Solutions. “To everyone who stopped by, thank you for making this show a success,” the firm said. The ministry expressed its gratitude toward the entities for the contribution, according to Cudd Well Control.

The collaboration between these companies and their decision to donate surplus food highlights efforts by local businesses to support community organizations.
