Texas Governor Greg Abbott posted a series of messages on March 9, 2026, addressing issues related to foreign influence and law enforcement funding in the state.
In one post, Abbott wrote, “Texas is rooting out Chinese communists. I directed state health agencies and public universities to review and catalog all Chinese-manufactured medical devices connected to our networks. We banned Chinese-linked tech from state systems. We banned hostile foreign adversaries” (March 9, 2026).
