Texas Governor Greg Abbott posted a series of messages on his official social media account on March 16 and 17, 2026, addressing topics ranging from personal support for a political figure to recent legislative actions in Texas.

On March 16, Abbott expressed support for Susie Wiles, stating, “May God’s grace, strength, and almighty healing power be with Susie Wiles. There is no tougher fighter than Susie Wiles. She will battle & defeat her cancer the way she has taken on every challenge in her life. America is better as she remains chief of staff to President Trump.”

Later that day, Abbott commented on election laws in Texas: “In Texas we just passed a law saying only US citizens can vote in our elections. ALL states & the US must pass the same restriction. It’s just common sense.”

On March 17, Abbott shared a brief message: “This is awesome!”
