MC to host annual career fair connecting job seekers with employers

Midland College will host its Annual Career Fair on April 16, 2026, offering students, graduates, and community members the opportunity to connect with employers across a wide range of industries.

The event aims to support workforce entry and career advancement for attendees at all stages, from those seeking their first job to individuals considering a career change. Organizers say the fair is designed to help participants engage directly with hiring managers and learn about open positions and current workforce needs.

According to a news release, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center and is free and open to the public. The fair will feature more than 50 employers, providing direct access for job seekers. Participating organizations include major regional employers and public-sector agencies such as Midland Independent School District, the City of Midland, Diamondback Energy, and the Texas Department of Public Safety. Additional representation spans healthcare, energy, education, retail, and skilled trades sectors, reflecting the diverse job market in the Permian Basin according to a news release.
