Midland College announced on March 30 that registration for its annual Kids’ College program will open on March 31 at 10 a.m. The summer enrichment initiative, designed for children ages 6 to 12, will run over four weeks in June and aims to provide young learners with opportunities to explore new interests and skills.
Kids’ College offers hands-on courses covering subjects such as arts, STEM, sports, and technology. This year’s program includes new classes like Mini Makers with the Fredda Turner Durham Children’s Museum, Bugs of West Texas with Texas Master Naturalists, Gardening with the Texas Master Gardeners, Music Explorers, Glow Lab, Paper Quilling, KidzMetology, Prepared to Respond: Event Readiness, Passport Across Continents, and Interior Design. The popular Ninja Course is also set to return this summer.
Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 1–5 p.m. on the Midland College campus. Students can choose two classes each week at costs ranging from $60 to $120 per class.
