Midland College to host annual career fair for students and community on April 16

Midland College announced on April 2 that it will hold its Annual Career Fair on Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. The event is free and open to students, graduates, and community members.

The career fair aims to connect job seekers with more than 50 employers across various industries. Attendees will have the chance to meet hiring managers, learn about open positions, and gain insight into workforce needs.

“This event is about helping people take that next step, whether that’s landing their first job, making a career change, or simply building confidence in how they present themselves to employers,” said Haley McNerlin, Director of Student Engagement and Leadership at Midland College. “We’re bringing together employers who are ready to connect, and we want our students, graduates, and community members to take full advantage of that opportunity.”

Employers scheduled to participate include First Service AC Contractors Inc., City of Big Spring, Midland ISD Transportation Services, PB Materials, ICA RADIO LTD., City of Midland, Tradehome Shoes, Cushman & Wakefield | C&W Services, Martin County Hospital District and others. Giveaways such as an iPad and professional portfolios will be available during the event.
