Midland County Sheriff’s Office makes narcotics arrest

The Midland County Sheriff’s Office made a narcotics arrest of a 38-year-old man Tuesday.

The case involves Brice Mitchell Evans, who was taken into custody following an investigation in northeast Midland. The sheriff’s office said the arrest followed allegations of drug sales at a residence in the area.

MCSO reported that investigators in its narcotics unit were summoned to the 1000 block of North County Road 1130 northeast of Midland in response to allegations of a drug sale at a residence in the area according to the Midland County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities subsequently executed a search warrant on the residence. The investigation revealed fentanyl, methamphetamine, THC, marijuana and U.S. currency in the home according to the Midland County Sheriff’s Office.

Brice Mitchell Evans was arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl and Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine. He is detained at the Midland County Central Detention Center according to the Midland County Sheriff’s Office.
