The Midland RockHounds have unveiled a new LED video board at Momentum Bank Ballpark ahead of the 2026 season.
The display, installed in January by Daktronics, is located in right field and will be used for game presentation, including live video, replays, statistics and in-game entertainment.
Team officials said the addition is expected to enhance the fan experience with expanded visual capabilities during games and events. The board measures approximately 32.5 feet high by 66 feet wide and features multiple content zones for a variety of digital displays.
Shelly Haenggi said the new board will expand in-game presentation options.
“The new video board is sure to captivate fans of all ages with high-quality visual entertainment, enhancing the in-game experience,” Haenggi said. “We’re thrilled for the upcoming RockHounds season, and many to come, with the range of presentation options it offers.”
Lori Blong said the project is part of continued investment in the ballpark and the team.
“This has been an investment by the city into our RockHounds facilities to help enhance the fan experience throughout the baseball season,” Blong said.
Blong said previous upgrades at the stadium have included improvements to player facilities and fan areas, reflecting ongoing support from the city and community.
The installation is part of ongoing updates at the ballpark as the RockHounds prepare for the upcoming season, which is scheduled to begin next week.
