The Midland RockHounds released their promotion schedule for the 2026 season Wednesday.
The announcement outlines a mix of new and returning theme nights, special events, and daily promotions aimed at engaging fans throughout the year. The team said in a Facebook post that included a short promotional video, “Mark your calendars.”
According to a press release, the home slate will feature both fan-favorite theme nights and several new additions. New promotions include pre-game live music on Friday nights, special events every month, and a VIP experience for children 12 years of age and under as part of the new Rocky’s Kids Club. The team will introduce Y2K Night on April 4, Mardi Gras Weekend during the weekend of April 17, Oilfield Appreciation during the weekend of June 12, World Soccer Weekend during the weekend of June 26, and AugtoberFest during the weekend of August 28 according to the press release.
Returning themes include Hawaiian Weekend (May 15), Military Appreciation (May 29), Christmas in July (July 10), Throwback Weekend (July 31), and First Responders Weekend (Sept. 11). The RockHounds also plan to launch daily promotions such as 2-for-Tuesdays and Weenies and White Claw Wednesdays. Bark in the Park and Brunch at the Ballpark are set to return as well according to the same press release.
The RockHounds are preparing for their 54th season as a franchise while aiming to defend their Texas League South first-half and divisional series championships. After achieving an overall regular-season record of 66-72 last year, Midland eliminated the Amarillo Sod Poodles from the playoffs before being defeated by the Springfield Cardinals in the league championship as reported on Facebook.
