The Midland RockHounds introduced a slate of new concession items for their 2026 home games on Friday.
The updated menu aims to offer a wider variety of food options for attendees. A Facebook post shared by the RockHounds featured eight new dishes that will be available for fans to purchase beginning April 2 when the ballclub opens the season at Momentum Bank Ballpark against the Arkansas Travelers. The post included a short clip of the items. “Come for the baseball, stay for the food,” the RockHounds said. “New bites at the ballpark!” according to a Facebook post by the team.
Among the new offerings is a taco salad topped with carne asada, lettuce, tomato, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. Fans can also choose between three beef or three chicken tacos, each served on a soft flour shell and topped with diced tomato and onion according to the same Facebook post.
For those seeking traditional ballpark fare, bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers and a smashburger served with French fries are part of this year’s lineup according to Facebook.
Other notable additions include the Roadkill-Arkansas Travelers Special—a hot dog topped with pulled pork, queso and BBQ sauce—named after their first opponent of the season. The A’s Dog-RockHounds honors their Major League Baseball affiliate currently playing in West Sacramento, California pending a move to Las Vegas. Fans can also order fried pepperoni pizza resembling a calzone filled with pepperoni, ricotta and mozzarella as detailed in their Facebook announcement.
