Banana Ball tickets are lottery-based, with 2026 season ticketholders having been granted priority access late last year. Banana Ball, which will be officially known as the Banana Ball Championship League starting this year, was established in 2023 and currently comprises six teams as detailed in the team’s Facebook post.
Banana Ball distinguishes itself from traditional baseball by implementing fast-paced rules and fostering continuous play. The game has 11 rules, with its most unique rule being that a fan catching a foul ball counts as an out charged against the team at-bat according to information provided by the RockHounds.
