Employees in the Midland RockHounds team offices at Momentum Bank Ballpark provided their picks for who they think will win Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.
According to a Facebook Reel posted by the RockHounds, 11 employees were surveyed. Six expressed support for New England, while five backed Seattle. One employee humorously wished for halftime show performer Bad Bunny to win, prompting the RockHounds to count his vote with those supporting the Patriots.
Seattle enters Super Bowl LX as a 4.5-point favorite after securing the NFC’s top seed with a 14-3 regular-season record. The Seahawks advanced through the playoffs by defeating NFC West rivals, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, to claim their first conference title since 2014.
New England also concluded their regular season with a 14-3 record. As an AFC wild-card team, they triumphed over the Los Angeles Archer, Houston Texans, and Denver Broncos to reach their first Super Bowl since 2018, marking an end to the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era.
Super Bowl LX is set to be a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, where the Patriots previously defeated the Seahawks 28-24. The game will take place on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
