The following day, Sparks continued to share religious content, quoting another Bible verse: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. – Proverbs 16:3”.
Sparks was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 to represent District 31, succeeding Kel Seliger. He is known for incorporating religious references into his public communications and expressing support for fellow Republican officials.
