Trinity School of Midland to undergo $34.3M expansion

A new state filing shows plans for a major campus expansion at Trinity School of Midland, bringing new academic facilities and upgrades to its existing campus along West Wadley Avenue.

The expansion is expected to enhance the school’s educational infrastructure while supporting continued enrollment growth and program expansion. Located in a well-established area of Midland, the development reflects ongoing investment in private education and campus modernization in the region, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the project—identified as Phase 1 of the Trinity School expansion—calls for construction of a new lower school building and entry/library facility, along with renovations and additions to an existing chapel. The scope also includes associated sitework, such as new playgrounds. The development will total approximately 45,000 square feet and is estimated to cost $34.3 million. Construction is scheduled to begin June 1, with completion targeted for August 1, 2027. Timelines listed in state filings are preliminary and subject to change. Trinity School of Midland, led by Tim Jones, head of upper school at the institution, is leading the project. San Antonio-based Lake Flato Architects has been selected as the design firm.according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
