The West Texas Bull Invasion will return to the Ector County Coliseum next month, bringing a night of high-stakes bull riding to Odessa.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, at the coliseum. Riders from across the region are expected to compete for a $5,000 cash prize, testing their skill and grit against what organizers describe as some of the rankest bulls in the business.

As with any bull riding competition, riders must stay on for eight seconds to record a qualified ride.

This year’s stock will be provided by Martinez’s Bucking Bulls, known for producing powerful and unpredictable animals that challenge even seasoned competitors.

Organizers say the combination of experienced riders and strong bucking stock is expected to create a fast-paced night inside the arena.

In addition to the competition, attendees will have a chance to win two tickets to see George Strait in concert April 24 in Lubbock, where he is scheduled to perform with special guest Zach Top. Every event ticket purchased will automatically enter fans into the drawing. The winner will be selected in person during the March 7 event and must be present to claim the prize.

“West Texas Bull Invasion is all about big rides, big energy, and giving fans an up-close experience they won’t find anywhere else,” said Richard Esparza, owner of Showbiz West Texas. “Every year, the competition gets tougher, the bulls get stronger, and the crowd gets louder. March 7 is shaping up to be one of our best nights yet.”

Tickets are available online and at the Ector County Coliseum box office. VIP tables can be reserved by calling 432-557-5598.

The event is promoted by Showbiz West Texas, which produces family-friendly entertainment across the region.
