West Texas FC announced Monday the signing of English forward Liam Pritchard for the 2026 season.

The addition of Pritchard brings a player with recent collegiate success and national recognition to the club. According to a Facebook post, Pritchard joins West Texas FC from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, where he was a redshirt senior and helped lead the Mustangs to the 2025 NCAA Division II national championship. “Liam comes to Midland with national pedigree and recognition,” the team said.

Pritchard concluded his collegiate career with several accolades, including being named the 2025 NCAA Division II National Tournament MVP and earning selections to both the United Soccer Coaches All-South Central Region First Team and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-South Central Region First Team in 2025. As reported by West Texas FC on Facebook, “As a Mustang, the Hartlepool, England, native amassed 18 goals and 31 assists in addition to delivering a goal that sealed the national final for MSU.”

WTXFC described Pritchard as “an elite level winger, a born leader and a true champion.” Head coach Scotty Murray said, “Liam brings about as good a resume as any this summer… A dynamic winger with just about everything in his locker – I’m buzzing he’s decided to make West Texas FC his home for summer 2026.”

Pritchard is also noted as an exercise physiology major. The club has not released further details regarding contract terms or when Pritchard will join training.
